Modern luxury kitchen layout in a Philadelphia home

A Higher Standard for Philadelphia Luxury Kitchens

Luxury kitchen remodeling is not just a bigger budget. It is a different level of design detail, material quality, and trade craftsmanship. Every joint and reveal has to be right.

Showcase Remodels has been building high-end kitchens in Center City brownstones, Rittenhouse condos, Society Hill town houses, and Main Line estates since 2002. Luxury work is part of our full kitchen remodeling service, but it gets its own design process and project lead.

Call 215-515-6484 to set up a consultation. We visit your home and listen to how you want the kitchen to live. Then we put together a design brief that reflects your taste, your floor plan, and how you entertain.

Most luxury projects start with a discovery meeting at the home, followed by a design retainer that locks in our team for the project. We move into measured drawings, finish boards, and appliance selection from there.

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele Appliance Specs to Plan For

Luxury appliances need more space, more power, and more ventilation than the standard 30-inch range and 36-inch fridge. We plan rough openings and utilities around the brand and model from day one.

Sub-Zero Refrigeration

Sub-Zero column refrigerators and freezers come in 18, 24, 30, and 36-inch widths. Each column needs a dedicated 115-volt circuit and a water line for the ice maker. We always specify the panel-ready model so the columns match the cabinetry.

Wolf Ranges and Cooktops

Wolf 36 and 48-inch dual-fuel ranges need a 240-volt circuit, a gas line at 1/2 inch, and a 1200 to 1500 CFM hood with proper make-up air. Philadelphia code requires balanced make-up air for any hood over 400 CFM.

Miele Dishwashers and Coffee

Miele’s panel-ready dishwasher uses a custom 24-inch panel and runs on a standard 20-amp circuit. Built-in coffee machines need a dedicated 20-amp line and a 24 by 18-inch wall cavity at the right height.

Speed Ovens and Steam Ovens

Speed ovens combine convection and microwave. Steam ovens add a water line. We coordinate the cabinet builder and the plumber so the rough-ins land in exactly the right spot, every time.

Design and Build Timeline for a Luxury Kitchen in Philadelphia

Luxury kitchens take longer than a standard remodel because the design is more involved and the lead times on cabinets and appliances are real. Plan for six to nine months from first meeting to final walk-through.

Measured site survey, three to four design revisions, appliance selection, finish selection, and final detail drawings. We also pull L&I permits during this phase.

Inset cabinetry is built to order. Most of our cabinet partners need 10 to 16 weeks from final drawings to delivery. Custom millwork and integrated panels add time.

Demo, framing, plumbing rough-in, electrical rough-in, HVAC adjustments, drywall, and floor prep. PHRC inspections happen during this stage.

Cabinet install, countertop template after cabinets are set, fabrication, and stone install. This is where the kitchen starts to look like the rendering.

Appliance install, plumbing trim, lighting trim, hardware, paint touch-up, and final cleaning. We do a full punch list with you before the project is closed.

What Actually Defines a Luxury Kitchen Remodel

The word luxury gets thrown around a lot in remodeling ads. In a real luxury kitchen, three things separate the work from a standard mid-range remodel.

Inset Cabinetry

Inset doors and drawers sit flush inside the cabinet face frame. Tolerances are measured in 1/32 of an inch. The look is clean and furniture-grade, but the build is much more demanding than overlay cabinetry.

Panel-Ready Appliances

Refrigerators, dishwashers, and freezer drawers are wrapped in custom cabinet panels so they disappear into the cabinet run. This requires brands engineered for paneling, like Sub-Zero and Miele.

Stone and Wood Detail

Bookmatched quartzite or marble slabs, mitered waterfall edges, walnut interiors, and hand-finished trim. The materials cost more, but the difference shows the moment you walk in.

Why Choose Showcase Remodels for Luxury Kitchen Remodeling in Philadelphia

We have spent more than 20 years building kitchens for Philadelphia families. Luxury work is a smaller share of our jobs by volume, but it is the share we are most proud of. The level of finish on these projects sets the bar for every kitchen we build.

NJ contractor license 13VH04055000. We carry full liability and workers comp coverage and pull every required Philadelphia L&I permit and PHRC inspection.

More than 350 Philadelphia homeowners have rated us 4.9 stars on Google. A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Repeat clients and referrals make up most of our luxury work.

Every luxury kitchen gets a dedicated project manager who handles cabinet and stone coordination, appliance delivery, inspections, and the daily site walk-through with the owner.

Design, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, tile, and finish work all run through one team. You do not coordinate four contractors. You make decisions with one project lead.
